Subjunctive

What is Subjunctive ?

Is simple form of the verb.

The simple form is the infinitive without  "to." 

The Subjunctive is only noticeable in certain forms and tenses.

Examples	Usage
1- I suggest that he study. 2-  Is it essential that we be there? 3-  Don't recommended that you join the committee	The Subjunctive is used to emphasize urgency or importance. It is used after certain verb or expressions

 

Form : verb or expression + that + subject + base verb
The Subjunctive is used after the following expressions:	The Subjunctive is used after the following verbs:
It is essential (that) It is imperative (that) It is important (that) It is necessary (that)	to ask (that) to command (that) to demand (that) to require (that) to insist (that) to recommend (that) to request (that) to suggest (that) to urge (that)

To infinitive forms :

:Two common phrases used to express desire that someone do something.
I want you + infinitive	I'd like you + infinitive
