Definition :
A compound noun is a noun
that is made with two or more words.
compound noun is usually [noun + noun] or [adjective
+ noun], etc.

Formation :
Compound Noun can be formed as two words (
e.g. bus stop , tennis shoe ) Or as one word ( e.g. postman , bedroom )
Sometimes they are joined using a hyphen ( e.g. check-in , six-pack )
