There are 2 kinds of verbs in the past :
1 - with regular verbs: infinitive + -ed
2 - with irregular verbs: 2nd column of the table of the irregular verbs .
2 - with irregular verbs: 2nd column of the table of the irregular verbs .
There are two kinds of sentences :
1-Affirmative sentences:

A / Some verbs have two objects –an indirect object and a direct object:

3 / Indirect questions :
Indirect questions are introduced by phrases like :
Can / Could you tell me……..? / Do you know …..? / I’d like to know …….etc .
Example :
